Good for You Ferments
Good for you Ferments was set up by Aoife & Jon in 2016 after discovering the tangy goodness of sauerkraut and lots of encouragement from their friends and family who had been eating their gut-friendly creations. The business has been making and selling sauerkraut through local markets, independent shops and also online and has won several Great Taste Awards, even becoming Great Taste Producers after winning 3 years in a row. Their purpose built fermentation kitchen is in a shipping container which is currently undergoing a relocation operation and being moved to Blackhills CSA. This means they can process the cabbages grown by Blackhills CSA on site and brings them a big step closer their long time goal of creating a circular, sustainable system for their businesses. There will be a 3 month break from Good for You Ferments until the kitchen is back up and running- the estimated date of return is end of September 2025.
